We made our first 2015 visit to Norfolk Botanical Garden about a week ago. We didn’t expect too much to be in bloom yet, but have friends visiting soon who will also want to visit the gardens, so we thought we would do a bit of research in anticipation.
While the daffodils were out everywhere, most of the rest of the garden was not very far along - partly a result of the late cold weather we had this year. However the huge camellia gardens were in bloom, and the blossoms were lovely! The Camellia society was also having a sale and contest, so we quite naturally had to come home with a camellia of our own.
This image is from one at the park, and just seemed to say, “Spring!”
