On the Google+ B&W learning group that I co-own (256 Shades of Gray, founded by Charles Lupica), a question was asked about capturing the essence of the holidays in a monochrome image, when they (like nearly all of life) are so full of color. In response, Charles created a new monochrome challenge, modeled loosely on the 5 day B&W challenges that have made the rounds recently.
For this challenge, Charles asked that you post at least one original monochrome image depicting the holidays (no specific holiday is named - the photographer can choose), and with each post, mention the person who nominated you, and nominate one other person to play along. Oh, yes, don’t forget the hashtag #MonochromeHolidayChallenge!
Charles’ post, and full details are here.
I posted the photo at right. Please feel free to play along, on Facebook or G+!
