Our cherry blossoms came early, like many other flowers this spring. Although enough time has now passed that, with the recent rains and a bit of wind, most of the blossoms are falling, the processing on these two images is ready for the images to be posted.
You’ll no doubt notice that while some clumps of blossoms are open, there are others not quite ready to burst forth. All the while, a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly flitted from bloom to bloom.
I have been enjoying portrait photography lately, and formed the idea of displaying these cherry blossom photos against a portrait-style background. Rather like making a portrait of the flower.
