Cape Breton’s Uisge Ban Falls, near Baddeck, Nova Scotia, falls in two tiers. As you approach by hiking about a mile from the parking area, there are many small falls and rapids. Turning a corner, you find a sheer wall, with water dropping from above.

You have reached the lower falls (pictured). Above those falls is a small pool, and the upper falls cascade into it, but only a small part of the upper falls is visible from below.
